Sindh Green Foundation (SGF), with the support of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEPD), Government of Sindh, successfully organized the Distribution of Assistive Devices Ceremony on 17 June 2026 at Bilal Banquet, Shahdadpur, District Sanghar.
More than 150 persons with disabilities received wheelchairs, tricycles, walkers, hearing aids, crutches, and other assistive devices to improve their mobility, independence, and quality of life.
The ceremony brought together representatives from government departments, civil society organizations, media, community leaders, and development partners, reflecting a shared commitment to promoting accessibility and equal opportunities for persons with disabilities.
SGF believes that assistive devices are more than mobility aids—they are tools that enhance confidence, independence, dignity, and participation. They enable persons with disabilities to access education, healthcare, livelihood opportunities, and community life with greater ease and self-reliance.
Through close collaboration with government institutions and local communities, SGF continues to promote disability inclusion, accessibility, and equal participation, ensuring that no one is left behind in development and humanitarian action.
